The fastest and most efficient way for obtaining an authorization is through our online authorization application, Tapestry Link. With Tapestry Link, you can submit requests for:

• Elective, urgent and emergent admissions
• Observations
• Skilled nursing facilities (SNF)*
• Inpatient rehab facilities (IRF)*
• Long-term acute care (LTACH)*

*For Health Alliance Plan Medicare Advantage members (excluding C-SNP & D-SNP), please continue to submit requests through Home & Community Care Transitions (formerly naviHealth).

Tapestry Link should not be used for:

• Boarder Babies
• Denied cases where you need to provide additional clinical information
• Peer to Peer
• Level of care transfers (if a member requires a higher level of care at another facility)
