Convenient and cost-effective prescription delivery with Pharmacy Advantage

HAP is dedicated to making your prescription management easier and more convenient through our home-delivery pharmacy service in partnership with Pharmacy Advantage. This service ensures that you receive your medications right at your doorstep, saving you time and effort.

Key highlights of the home-delivery pharmacy service:

• Free delivery:

  • Enjoy free standard shipping on all your prescription medications.
  • Your only cost is your prescription copay, which may vary depending on your plan.

• Comprehensive service:

  • Pharmacy Advantage handles both regular and specialty medications.
  • Get up to a 90-day supply of some medications, reducing the need for frequent pharmacy visits.

• Easy enrollment:

  • Three ways to sign up:
    • Call Pharmacy Advantage customer service at (800) 456-2112, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (TTY: 711).
    • Complete the online Pharmacy Advantage Enrollment Form.
    • Print and mail the enrollment form along with your original prescription to Pharmacy Advantage Specialty Pharmacy, 1191 South Blvd E, Rochester Hills, MI 48307.

• Seamless prescription management:

  • Pharmacy Advantage will coordinate with your doctor or current pharmacy to transfer prescriptions and manage refills.
  • Automatic refill programs are available for select medications.

• Timely delivery:

  • Most prescriptions are delivered within five business days via tracked Priority Mail by USPS, with some specialty prescriptions sent by FedEx or a local courier.
  • For urgent needs, Pharmacy Advantage will work with you to meet your medical requirements.

How to utilize the benefit:

1. Sign up for home delivery:

   • Call (800) 456-2112.
   • Have your HAP ID card and a list of prescriptions ready for transfer.

2. Coordinate your care:

   • Pharmacy Advantage will contact your doctor or current pharmacy to transfer your prescriptions.
   • They will also assist with prior authorizations and verify prescription coverage.

3. Set up automatic refills:

   • Enroll in the auto refill program for select medications to ensure timely delivery.
   • Manage your prescriptions online or through the automated refill line by calling (800) 456-2112 and selecting option #2.

4. Receive your medications:

   • Your prescriptions will be delivered to your home, with most arriving within five business days.
   • Specialty medications can be delivered to your home or picked up at one of Pharmacy Advantage’s 19 locations in southeast Michigan.
