HAP is dedicated to supporting you through every stage of your pregnancy and postpartum journey. We’ve partnered with ProgenyHealth® to ensure that you receive comprehensive maternity case management, from prenatal health up to 12 months after your baby is delivered at no additional cost. Here’s how you can make the most of these benefits as a HAP commercial member in Michigan.

Key highlights of the ProgenyHealth® Maternity Case Management Program:

• Maternity services:

  • Specialized support: Receive guidance from your dedicated Nurse Case Manager in between doctor’s visits, ongoing support and risk monitoring, and behavioral health screenings and interventions.  
  • Mobile app: Download the mobile app to access comprehensive maternity support including education, encouragement, pregnancy trackers, customized content based on your profile and direct access to ProgenyHealth’s team of Nurse Case Managers. Scan the QR code below to get started.

• Postpartum services:

  • Specialized support: Even after delivery, stay connected to support for up to 12 months postpartum. You will receive screening for postpartum depression, breastfeeding support and assistance with making postpartum appointments. If your baby requires a NICU admission, ProgenyHealth’s specialized NICU Care Management team goes into action, collaborating with NICU hospital teams and providing increased family support.
  • Mobile app: Use the app for tips about parenting, education about your new baby, local mom and baby resources in your community and to-do list items and reminders such as vaccines. Scan the QR code below to get started. 

• Program enrollment and utilization:

How to use the benefit:

1. Enroll in the program:

   • Download the ProgenyHealth mobile app by scanning the QR code or visiting the provided link.
   • Create your profile and start tracking your pregnancy and baby’s milestones.

2. Access support services:

   • Contact your ProgenyHealth Case Manager for assistance with doctor visits, care plans and finding additional resources.
   • Use the mobile app to stay informed and connected throughout your pregnancy and postpartum period.

3. Postpartum care:

   • Schedule a postpartum visit with your OB-GYN to check on your recovery and address any concerns.
   • Add your baby to your health plan and schedule their first well visits and immunizations.

• Benefit for employees:

  • HAP’s fully insured commercial group health plans include maternity services at no additional cost to employers or employees.
  • The program helps employees increase health literacy, reduce anxiety, utilize the right health care resources and better manage the cost of care for mom and baby.
