HAP is now Health Alliance Plan by Henry Ford Health. This brand evolution reinforces our integration with Henry Ford Health and our shared mission to improve people’s lives by promoting better health outcomes and value. You might also notice a new look and feel on our website.

All in. All the way.
All in means having a team in your corner, helping you through the questions, the complexity and the next steps. When coverage is built by people who know health best, care feels centered on what matter most.
Your questions, answered.
Below you’ll find the answers to your most common questions. Read on to learn more about what these changes mean for you.
What’s not changing is your plan, ID card or benefits. They will stay exactly the same. If you have a flex card, your card and benefits will remain exactly the same. You’ll continue to have access to providers both within and outside of Henry Ford Health.
Nothing! We will be phasing out the old brand gradually. You will keep the same ID card and other materials.
"Health Alliance Plan by Henry Ford Health" puts the idea of alliance front and center and makes our connection to Henry Ford Health impossible to miss. This isn't about leaving our history behind. It's about using our full name to tell a stronger, clearer story about who we are.
Henry Ford Health is one of the most recognized and trusted names in Michigan healthcare, built on a mission to improve people's lives. Making that connection visible in our name immediately tells members, employers, and brokers that we're backed by something bigger than a health plan. Practically, it means less back-and-forth between your health insurance and your doctor, between filing a claim and getting a clear answer.
Members still have access to our broad provider networks, whether they see a Henry Ford Health provider or not. Our integration with Henry Ford Health allows us to pilot programming that helps lower costs and improve health outcomes. And we can scale that to all our members, regardless of where they choose to receive care.
Despite the new name, you should be able to receive your care as usual. Plans, benefits and provider networks will remain exactly the same. You can expect new, updated ID cards coming this fall when you normally receive them.
Brokers and providers will see an updated name, look and set of materials, but the relationships and people behind them stay the same. Here's what to expect: Updated sales and enrollment materials will be available ahead of open enrollment, including refreshed collateral, presentation decks and digital assets. They will also see an updated website that reflects our new name. Account representatives, broker support contacts, provider networks, plan structures and contract terms all remain the same.
